Job Description
Jumazi is seeking a front-end developer to join our web application team to design, implement and maintain the web application that supports our innovative new applications. The ideal candidate must be committed to quality, self-motivated, flexible, open minded and a team player.
The front-end developer will have a mix of engineering and management responsibilities. He/she must be able to understand every component of the web application stack, identify deficiency, architect solution, communication the design to others. He/she should also take part in training other junior developers.
The front-end developer will need to work closely with product owners on new feature specifications, and collaborate with other engineering teams or external contractors to coordinate development.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building Web applications in a high volume production environment.
- Excellent front-end skills using HTML5, CSS3 with pre-processor LESS or SASS.
- Experience in several responsive front-end framework such as Bootstrap, Gird CSS.
- Experience of dealing with cross-browser compatibility requirements.
- Experience and understanding of good UI and creation of responsive layouts.
- Excellent in Javascript with JQuery / JQuery Mobile or AngularJS, Ajax and JSON-based API and similar technologies.
- Experience in developing Joomla & Wordpress, social consumer products is preferred.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth start-up environment.
